There’s not long left to grab your free tacos at Wahaca – you just need to return THOSE spoons by the end of January as part of the infamous Spoon Amnesty.
We thought it only right that we check these bad boys out for you & we give them a big thumbs up! The special achiote cod taco with pineapple is our top pick, but it turns out Wahaca is so much more than their tacos.
Start with one of the many variations on a margarita – you HAVE to have tequila with tacos!
The street food section of the menu is our favourite, just make sure you go with someone that’s good at sharing. The tostadas comes in pairs, so go for the sashimi & the black bean with authentic tomatillo.
The quesadillas are unbelievably good value – starting at just £3.75 for a plate of cheesy goodness. Watch out for the chilli one though – it packs a bit of a punch.
You must order the new Smoky cauliflower cheese – a great addition to the menu – we could have eaten a bucket of this! There’s also loads of super healthy options if that’s your thing – the supercharged salad was massive and packed full of all the good stuff.
It’s been awhile since we visited a Wahaca as we rarely eat in chains these days. However, the fact Wahaca has managed to roll out so successfully is surely testament to their fresh Mexican menu, fun buzzy atmosphere, and all at a price that makes it far too easy to order just one more plate.
