Ben & Jerry’s are a whopping 40 years old (they look good don’t they – must be all the ice cream) and to celebrate, you’re invited to their giant birthday cake-inspired, swirling ball pit party!
For one day only on Saturday 10th March at Old Spitalfields Market, fans can have a ball, whilst being churned like the chunks of cake and swirls of strawberry nestled in Ben & Jerry’s newest cool concoction: Birthday Cake.
Ben & Jerry’s swirling “Birthday Cake” ball pit comes complete with giant candles galore and 45,000 multi-colored balls to dive into. What’s more the team will have more cake batter-tastic Fairtrade scoops than you can shake a spoon at… it wouldn’t be a Ben & Jerry’s party without ice cream.
Catherine Goffinet, Ben & Jerry’s Flavour Guru, said: “We love a reason to celebrate here at Ben & Jerry’s… so first we combined two of our favourite things – ice cream and cake – in our new Birthday Cake concoction and then we decided to throw a party. We hope our fans will give our birthday cake-inspired ball pit a swirl!”
Free is the magic number; entrance to Ben & Jerry’s birthday ball pit is completely free, at Spitalfields Market (just by the main entrance on Commercial Street) from 11am – 6pm on Saturday 10th March.
Along with a few surprises on the day… the Ben & Jerry’s team will be scooping free samples of the new Ben & Jerry’s Birthday Cake flavour, so all who dive in can dig in. Simply turn up in the party spirit and celebrate whether it’s your birthday, or someone else’s (after all, it’s someone’s birthday somewhere…right?).
