Cheesus: Morty & Bob’s Pops‐Up At The Hat And Tun!

Praise be to cheeses! Grilled cheese street food champions Morty & Bob’s are popping up at The Hat and Tun in Farringdon for two weeks in March for cheeky weeknights of oozy, boozy goodness.

Getting all up in The Hat & Tun’s grill, Morty & Bob’s will serve their signature grilled cheese sandwiches paired with THE best Bloody Marys between 5:30pm – 9pm from Wednesday 18th ‐ Friday 20th March and the following week, Wednesday 25th – Friday 27th March.

You’ve had toasties before, but this is next‐level cheesiness using the best of British ingredients.

Picture stringy, melted cheese oozing from the middle, crisp crunch on the outside and a punch of flavour in every bite: that’s the signature grilled cheese from Morty & Bob’s. Drooling yet? A three‐cheese blend (using British varieties sourced from Neal’s Yard Dairy) as standard is sandwiched between slices of traditional, artisan sourdough slathered with secret M&B cheese sauce.

Make any of the above  options really sing with an addition of jalapenos  (50p extra)  and snap up the sure‐to‐sell‐out sides of croquettas (£4) too. Wash it all down with one of ETM’s signature Bloody Marys – the perfect, punchy

cocktail to square up to the gourmet, grilled gluttony.

Word on the street is that Morty & Bob’s are scouting for a more substantial, ‘bricks and mortar’ set‐up  but until then, The Hat & Tun is one of the best places to grab ‘em while they’re hot!

‘Say Cheese’ at The Hat & Tun this March; #cheesypopup for your chance to win cheese toasties for two!
