With the sun finally shining, Cinnamon Kitchen in Devonshire Square has just launched it’s Bombay Sapphire Gin Garden.
The gin garden features a bespoke gin bar, gazebos and an outdoor TV screening area to show the best of the summer’s sport. The terrace itself has been given a makeover with plenty of comfy seats, gazebos and a swing bench, all nestled among lush, green plants.
In partnership with Bombay Sapphire, cocktails are, unsurprisingly, gin-based! A number of twists on the traditional gin and tonic are on offer including chilli and cucumber, and our recommendation; mint and ginger. Cocktails include the Summer Fruit Cup, a light and refreshing drink made with Bombay Sapphire, Martini Rosso, Cointreau, ginger ale, mint leaves and fresh lime.
If you get a little peckish, satisfy your hunger with a selection of small plates and snacks such as lam shame kebabs, masala potato wedges, platters of cheese served with naan and mixed chutneys, and the delicious hakka chilli paneer.
Running until September, the garden offers a safe bet for after work drinks – although light and airy, it is in fact safely undercover of the square’s high glass roof so no need to rush for cover when a sudden shower appears unexpectedly!
