Borough Market favourite, Arabica, is opening a sister site in King’s Cross this Autumn and to celebrate, they’re offering you 50% off food.
The new restaurant will offer an almost entirely new menu (complemented by a handful of the best-loved dishes from Borough) with plates drawing inspiration from recent adventures through Jordan, Lebanon and vibrant cities Istanbul, Beirut, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Catering to meat-eaters, pescatarians, veggies and vegans alike, new dishes include Istanbul-style mussels with walnut tarator, beef cheek borekas (a type of puff pastry parcel with ox cheek slow-braised in red wine) and the succulent Kebab el Arabica – lamb koftes sealed over hot coals, and baked in the clay oven with charred tomatoes, blackened onions, Turkish peppers and cinnamon, sealed with a bread dough lid.
New vegetarian and plant-based dishes include the supercharged ‘Hummus KX’ with diced sweet peppers, red chilli, garlic, parsley and roasted spicy chickpeas and the fully loaded iceberg wedge salad, with creamy Galotyri cheese buttermilk dressing, crunchy seeds, cherry tomatoes, dill and mint leaves.
The wine list (eight of which will be available on tap in the bar) has been selected by Bitten and Written’s Zeren Wilson. It champions emerging wine-makers from Macedonia, South Africa and Australia whilst also giving a platform to long-time Arabica favourites like Lebanon’s Domaine de Tourelles vineyard. We can’t wait to give it a whirl.
Soft launch will run from 25th-29th September with 50% off food.
