WIN a Rude Health Bundle!

Porridge perfection. Native have only gone and won the Rude Health Porridge Championship for the SECOND year running.

Chefs and porridge connoisseurs from Dishoom, High Mood Food, Essence Cuisine, Brother Marcus, Pear Tree Café, Timberyard, Leith’s School of Food and Wine, No. 11 Supperclub and Native, as well as a wildcard from an Instagram competition, Rebecca Marcone, piled into the Waitrose Cookery School to prove just how versatile a humble bowl of porridge can be. Oat my god, it was good.

Spurtles were sharpened, sweat was shed and oats were spilled but it was Native who took home the esteemed Rude Health Porridge Bowl for the second year running with their Parsnip, Bone Marrow and Sea Buckthorn Porridge.

Parsnip-infused milk, bone marrow truffles and a sprinkling of sea buckthorn were amongst the ingredients used by Native to create a recipe deemed by judges – Rude Health’s Nick Barnard, The Guardian and Observer’s Tim Lewis and Chef Tito Bergamasch –  to be the best of a very, very impressive bunch.

Native’s winning recipe will become a seasonal special at The Rude Health Café in Fulham, alongside their 2016 recipe, Meadowsweet Porridge with Crab Apple Compote and Kentish Wood Ants.
