Get pickled with Barts’ new vinegar cocktails menu

Uncle Barts, being the sneaky moonshiner that he is, has created a new way of smuggling in his booze ‘under the noses of the caps’ with the launch of his new “Uncle Barts gets pickled” menu of Vinegar infused cocktails.

Not content with cocktails in cups, he has decided that he shall now offer guests an extra kick to their cocktail, by adding some home made and fermented juis de Vin to the mix…

The menu will comprise of three top tipples:

For the ladies of the manor, there will be the Queen of Tarts, a tangy Martini made with Belvedere vodka, strawberries, home-made balsamic jam, lemon juice and sugar, that will then be garnished with a caramelized strawberry and balsamic glaze.

For the traditional chappy, with a stiff upper lip there will be the Twelve Years, a twist on the classic Old fashioned, made with Woodford Reserve, infused with cooked apple and Balsamic Vinegar, and mixed with a cube of sugar and home-made apple bitters.

Then lastly, for those looking to get their pre lent chocolate fix, there will be the “Mon Cheri” (in homage to the famous Ferrero chocolate). Made with chocolate and cherry infused apple vinegar, and stirred with Grand Marnier and Pampero Añejo, the Mon Cheri, will be a deliciously sweet Martini style cocktail, garnished with chocolate sprig, of course.
