The Art of Dining and The Oval Space bring you The 80s Office Christmas Party: drinks, dinner, dancing and plenty of paper in the photocopier.
The power pop-up duo, Ellen Parr & Alice Hodge have collaborated in the past to create some of London’s most unforgettable dinners, including The Engine Room, Abigail’s Party, The Colour Palate, Gone Camping, and A Night with the Mistress. Their next pop-up adventure promises to transport guests back to the 1980’s for an evening of office antics enjoyed with fabulous food.
The 80s Office Party will see set designer Alice Hodge take you back to the decade of shoulder pads and big hair, transforming The Pickle Factory into a classic office environment of overhead projectors and pinboards, filing cabinets and pot plants, complete with a refreshing lack of computers and the all-important, and much abused, photocopier.
Guests will be invited to grab a glass of punch from the water cooler and get ready to enjoy Moro-trained chef Ellen Parr’s five- courses of food classics from the era, presented with a contemporary twist that will take guests from the morning black coffee to the afternoon biscuits.
