If you haven’t heard of Blessings, then listen up. It’s a cute 3 floor town-house bar on Commercial Street, a little away from the buzz of Spitalfields, but worth discovering.
They serve cocktails that actually ARE different and bespoke, and are currently hosting pop-up Origins Of to knock the crap out of your food senses!
We headed down last week to sample some delights along with many happy customers.
Whilst sipping on a Rhubarb Martini we tried spice-infused fried chicken, buttermilk soaked cauliflower florets and yummy falafels, along with flatbreads, dips, chips – the lot.
As baskets of each were passed around in a never-ending fashion, we also got to try the same ingredients served taco-style with pickles and tingling sauces. Being big meat eaters over here at Crummbs, we couldn’t believe how much we LOVED the cauliflower offerings.
