A few days ago we went to the swanky new Nobu in Shoreditch to celebrate the launch of G’Vine’s newest gin – Nouaison gin – crafted from distilled grapes.
We’re big fans of the original but this is an aromatic, smooth, round version with a complex and spicy profile.
As such it works really well in classic cocktails such as the Negroni à la française, or in new creations like the Divinus from David Rios (2013 world best bartender).
Why not give it a go yourself…
Negroni à la française
45 ml Nouaison gin
45 ml La Quintinye Vermouth Royal Rouge
1 dash Orange Bitters
Gently blend ingredients in a mixing glass and strain into an old-fashioned glass over a large sphere ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel twist.
