Bermondsey’s newest restaurant and bar, Loyal Tavern opens on Monday 16th September and to celebrate, they’re going on soft launch.
From Friday, 6th until Sunday, 15th September, guests will receive 50% off their food bill exclusively at dinner time, including highlights from chef patron, Tom Cenci’s produce led menu. Enjoy dishes such as Cornish mackerel with apple, pine nut and truffle; and venison tartare with beef dripping. Daily specials feature dishes such as rib of retired dairy cow and gurnard with crab bisque, carrot and seaweed.
Restaurateur, Adam White and ex-Duck & Waffle executive chef, Tom Cenci have teamed up to launch the new restaurant on the site that was previously the local favourite Village East, transforming the vibrant venue into a new neighbourhood restaurant and bar. Loyal Tavern will showcase inventive small plates, brought about by a love of local sustainable ingredients.
Seasonality continues in the drinks with bar manager, Antonio Del Monte’s (previously The Ned, Soho House Group) seasonal botanicals in punch bowls alongside a wine program, which sees natural, new world, British and international wines carefully paired to match the dishes. Wine flights are also available to order separately in three different measurements (50, 175 and 500ml) and of course, a broad beer selection.
During the soft launch, the restaurant will open Monday – Wednesday from 6pm to 11.30pm, Thursday 12pm to 11.30pm, Saturday 9am to 1.30am, and Sunday 9am to 11.30pm.
THIS VENUE HAS NOW PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
