Kua ’Aina Celebrates 1st Birthday on Goodge Street with New Menu and Christmas Specials!
Barack Obama’s favourite burger joint just got some brand spanking new dishes – and you are not going to want to miss them!
In the last 12-months Kua ’Aina in Goodge Street has served up 11,548 signature Avocado Burgers to the discerning burger lovers of the capital; chilled, pulled and poured 9,245 craft beers from Hawaii’s Kona Brewing Company, and stacked 16,936 sweet and savoury all-day American Pancakes !
With a double celebration on the cards; the original Kua ’Aina on Hawaii’s North Shore turns 40 this year, they are marking the anniversaries with a new menu, special offers, and some traditional Hawaiian hospitality throughout the festive season including a ‘Beat-the-Clock’ burger offer (4-7pm) and a cocktail Happy Hour (5-7pm)
The Mahi Mahi Fish Fingers & Fries are next level – you won’t find better anywhere else, and we loved that the Battered Onion Rings are made using Longboard Hawaiian craft beer. Like almost everything here, dishes are made from scratch so you get a super fresh taste. It’s also the only restaurant you’ll find chefs cooking over volcanic rock. Not only does this sound very cool, it means the burgers retain all of the smoky flavour without any of the unnecessary fat! Healthy burgers? Yes please!
It makes sense that these avocado lovers would try sticking one in their cocktails. It works though, try it for yourself in the Avocado Wave, featuring Silver Rum, Avocado, Mango, Orange & Lime.
And yes, the Mince Pie Milkshake (made from a real mince pie) IS as good as it sounds!
