Hawker House – Street Feast gets toasty for winter!

The original and the best – Street Feast launches their indoor winter residency tonight!!

The creators of Street Feast bring you Hawker House – moving the food, booze and music inside and staying open till 2am for the next 6 weekends.

Inspired by the hawker centres of Singapore (street food markets offering a variety of delicious food in urban areas), Hawker House takes the spirit of Merchant Yard and Dalston Yard inside, making its home in an old factory sandwiched between Broadway Market and Hackney Road.

At the heart of Hawker House lies the Hot Bar, featuring unique takes on seasonal favourites like Hot Buttered Rum, Hot Wine, and the Hawker Hot Chocolate laced with cognac and green chartreuse. There’ll also be over 50 different bottles to choose from at the Whisky Bar and restaurant quality wines at street level prices from Street Vin. Those cool kids arriving after 8pm will get a Hot Shot with the £3 entry fee but before that it’s free to get in!

 SMOKESTAK

Throughout the six week run, Hawker House will be hosting some of London’s best street food traders, chefs and restaurants. B.O.B.’s Lobster will be serving up lobster treats aplenty, SmokeStak’s 4.5 tonne smoker will be supplying smoked beef and pork ribs, as well as a host of warm puddings and ice creams on offer from Sorbitium’s Sweet Station.

There’ll also be juicy sliders and Chilliback shots from Dalston Yard favourites Breddos Tacos, fresh pasta from Cooking Cooks, a naan bar from Rola Wala, and steamed gua bao from Yum Bun, whilst Mama’s Jerk, Spit & Roast and Baba G will be creating brand new dishes especially for Hawker House. Wine lovers will welcome the return of Street Vin with a full restaurant-ready list of house favourites plus a Magnum of The Week, some bargain bin ends and lots more Lambrusco. The main Rotary Bar will serve some of London’s best craft beers and expect to enjoy a new list of short, long and strong cocktails that will warm you from the inside out.
