This January, Ahi Poké have joined forces with boutique fitness studio Psycle London to celebrate the opening of their two new homes in Bloomberg Arcade and Spitalfields.
On a mission to bring their Californian fuelled take on Pacific poké to London, the three childhood friends, Jeremy Costé, Gabriel Cohen-Elia and David Bellaiche have set their sights on the City. Ushering in 2018 with an added dose of sunshine, their signature bowls include ‘Heat Wave’, ‘Sweet Green’ and the traditional ‘Hawaiian Oahu’, packed with sustainably sourced fish and vegetables from New Covent Garden Market.
To celebrate their new openings, Executive Chef and co-founder Jeremy has teamed up with Psycle CEO and nutritionist, Rhian Stephenson to create a limited edition poké bowl. Psycle’s bowl will include kale topped with marinated tofu, pickled ginger, kimchi cucumber, coconut roasted sweet potato, burnt corn, coriander and a green tahini dressing. For those combatting their Christmas indulgence, the first 50 people to get their hands on the Psycle bowl every day will receive a free fitness class.
“Rather than the usual dread that January brings, for Ahi Poké, things couldn’t be more exciting. Not only are we thrilled to be opening two new places in the City, but to team up with Psycle – we are all regulars at their classes in Fitzrovia, and their fun approach to exercise aligns closely with our attitude to healthy eating, not to mention their taste in music!” says Jeremy.
“I’m such a fan of Ahi Poké because of the quality and freshness of their ingredients. It’s the ideal way to refuel after a Psycle class and the perfect balanced meal for anyone in a high energy job. I’ve designed the kind of bowl that I would want to eat in January – following macrobiotic principles and packed with functional foods that will nourish the gut and boost metabolism after a heavy festive season.” says Rhian.
Ahi Poké will open in Old Spitalfields Market on 22nd January and in Bloomberg Arcade at the beginning of February.
The Psycle bowl will be available at all Ahi Poké locations from 22nd January – 22nd February, with 50 free Pscyle classes available on a first come, first served basis each day.
