Cub, the drinks-led dining experience by award-winning duo Ryan Chetiywardana (aka Mr Lyan) and Douglas McMaster, will be popping up at neighbourhood and community gardens across London, with exact locations only revealed to guests the day before. Capitalising on the summer weather and making the most of the city during the al fresco season, the series will take place between July and August.
Working closely with gardens which have a focus on supporting and giving back to the community around them, the Cub team will use hyperlocal produce grown on site for each of the menus – making every dinner unique. To keep diners on their toes, the postcodes of the dinners will be announced when booking, with the exact location revealed the day before via email and Cub’s social media channels.
Having first opened in Hoxton in September 2017, Cub is the result of a collaboration between internationally renowned bartender Ryan Chetiyawardana (aka Mr Lyan) and Doug McMaster of Brighton’s zero-waste restaurant Silo. Blurring the boundaries of food and drink to bring them closer together, the set menu takes guests on a journey where each drink or dish leads beautifully on to the next. With a strong focus on sustainability and minimising waste, abundant ingredients that would normally be discarded are showcased in dishes and drinks.
This summer’s Secret Garden Supper Clubs bring the Cub concept outside into the capital’s beautiful gardens, showcasing local produce grown within London communities and taking diners on an exciting al fresco food and drink journey.
Cub’s Secret Garden Supper Clubs take place on 1st July, 30th July and 27 August.
Tickets are priced £60 per person for all food and drink, and can be booked through www.lyancub.com
