Peruvian feast at F. Cooke’s Pie & Mash

F. Cooke’s Pie & Mash

An intimate Peruvian pop up in a Pie and Mash shop in Hackney? Sounds about perfect for us!

On the 19th July, join a group of just 36 food lovers for an informal, one-night-only Peruvian feast at F. Cooke’s Pie & Mash shop on Hoxton Street – where the creations of up-and-coming Peruvian chef, Ernesto Leon will be showcased.

Expect five tasting courses of Peruvian classics including Seabass Ceviche, Seco De Cordero (lamb and cilantro goulash), as well as our signature Anticuchos Con Salsa Aji Amarillo (that’s skewers of grilled ox heart with a mild yellow chilli salsa for the uninitiated).

To tantalize your taste buds and complement these dishes we will be serving up cocktails made with Peru’s national spirit, Pisco – specially designed by the award-winning mixologist – David Hamilton Boyd

David currently splits his time running his organic cocktail events company Organic Spirit – the UK’s first and only organic cocktail events company as well as tutoring aspiring mixologists, running his pop up dining experience (Plate & Shaker), competing in world and national cocktail competitions and writing his food and drink blog when he can find a spare moment.

If cocktails aren’t your thing, Peruvian Cusquena beer and soft drinks will also be available of course. (It’s CASH only so do come prepared with change!)
