On Monday 9th December, the award-winning Brompton Bar and Grill will team up with the recently launched London Shooting Club to host its latest instalment of The Grill Club…
With Wild Boar as the theme!
An informative evening and a gastronomic delight, involving preparation and cookery demonstrations, as well as a wine pairing. Guests will enjoy an aperitif and crudités with saffron aioli on arrival followed by an introduction and explanation about the techniques used by London Shooting Club founder, Steve Jones.
Brompton Bar & Grill owner and chef Francois ONeill will then do a cooking demonstration on how to prepare the wild boar, caught specially for this evening, describing which are the best cuts to serve and how best to cook the meat. The authentic unfarmed meat has a distinctive texture and tastes like a cross between organic pork and venison. Over the course of the evening, guests will enjoy a delicious wild boar themed dinner prepared by talented Brompton Bar & Grill Executive Chef, Gary Durrant.
This will then be followed by a brief talk and tasting by Lea & Sandeman, one of Londons most respected independent wine dealers, which will explore and demonstrate which wines go well with wild boar. Lea & Sandeman have been leaders in the wine retail industry for 25 years and are known for sourcing unusual and delicious wines from all over the world.
Occurring regularly and exploring different themes at each session, The Grill Club provides the perfect Monday evening activity for meat lovers in London. The Brompton Bar & Grill is Knightsbridges stylish and local bistro offering superb seasonal cuisine, fine wines and delicious cocktails. Founded by Francois five years ago, it has gone from strength to strength and is the ideal place to eat, drink and enjoy regular live music.
So if you like to know where your meat comes from, how to prepare it and how to get the most enjoyment out of it once served; then this is the perfect evening for you!
