50% off at Rök Smokehouse

Opening this August, we’ve nabbed you a lovely 50% off at new ‘Nordic Smokehouse’ Rök situated on Curtain Road.

True to its name, the food at Rök, which means ‘smoke’ in Swedish, draws upon techniques such as brining, pickling and smoking, applying them to top quality British ingredients. The menu is made up mainly of smoked meat dishes, cures, pickles and vegetable dishes commonly found on tables across Northern Europe.

Meats are prepared and smoked at the legendary Cobble Lane smokehouse in Islington before being sent to Rök where they are finished on a custom built, charcoal fuelled BBQ – the centrepiece of their kitchen.

Meat-and-pickles

It’s not all about meat here though, salads such as charred broccoli, pumpkin seeds and toasted almonds are available as mains and see the same level of care applied as with the meats.

Expect to see Dill pickle and seasonal wild mushrooms amongst the list of ever growing options that will rotate throughout the seasons.

Pickle-selection

We can’t wait to try beef shin croquettes with horseradish & parsley cream, Nduja quail scotch egg, and smoked short rib of beef with birch syrup!

Sound good? Try it all for 50% off from the 3rd – 8th August, evenings only.

Bookings for this will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve a table at the soft launch please send an e-mail to bookings@roklondon.com
