Mayfair restaurant 34 are hosting a new week-long seafood pop-up with Ben Orpwood (ex Zuma & Roka) to kick summer off in style!
The raw bar will offer sharing plates with sashimi, scallops with yuzu & soy granita and tuna tataki. While the Robata grill will come into its own during the 6 day stint – fish skewers, spicy barbecue octopus, Ben’s own hot smoked salmon with pickled ginger and British shellfish with XO sauce will be served, amongst other dishes. Mains will include salt and pepper lamb cutlets and Japanese beef fillets. Ben, also a great fan of the pastry section, will be working closely with Pastry Chef Alice Hall to offer a diverse and mouth-watering dessert menu including doughnuts, ice creams, peanut crunch bar, cheesecake and Ben’s yuzu and frozen marshmallow and chocolate tofu.
