SUPERNATURAL ALCOHOLIC JUICE BAR

Just when we’re waiting for a healthy cocktail bar to come to Spitalfields, two come at once!

Supernatural is the latest to pop up from 28th September for a three-month residency.

Supernatural Spitalfields will serve its signature raw shakes by day and transform into a buzzing, late night cocktail joint by night.

The juice bar brand is proud to have applied the art of cocktail mixology to the world of wellness with expertly crafted drinks since its launch in 2012 and now Supernatural Founder Dan Thomson (previously Milk & Honey, BYOC and Zenna Bar) will be joined by Terence Robson (Graphic, Peckham’s Rooftop Film Club and Trailer Happiness) to launch an entirely new genre of cocktail-juice bar.

The ultimate ‘gin and juice’ concept where both alcoholic and non-alcoholic components will get equal attention, Supernatural Spitalfields marks an evolution in late night bars for those who like to work (out) hard and play hard.

Meticulous care and attention will be taken with all ingredients, including artisan spirits, cold-press juice mixers, kale bitters, nutrient dense raw coconut and nut milks and fresh edible garnishes.

Guests can expect a matcha tea charged Thai Punch of coconut rum infused with Thai chilli, ginger, lemon grass, kaffir lime, fresh pineapple, mango and citrus, Pina Kaleada with rum, coconut milk, kale and citrus smoked sea salt and a power-packed plant-based Wheatgrass Verdita. Other menu highlights include the immune-boosting Birds & Bees, consisting of gin, lemon, Manuka honey and cider vinegar, the superfood-based Quin Collins with quinoa, avocado, gin, citrus and soda and the Super Fruit Margarita containing mezcal and tequila with a touch of agave nectar and antioxidant-rich acai, blueberry and goji berries. All cocktails on the menu are priced between £9.00 – £12.00.

The focus on fresh and nourishing ingredients is carried through to the food offering, with a selection of wake-up gourmet porridge and granola for the mornings. Toppings include pure cacao, honey, blueberries, dried apricots and almonds, with plenty of dairy-free milks available. Meanwhile healthy but hearty breakfast staples aren’t forgotten, as you may opt for the ever-popular Avocado on Toast or Baked Eggs.

As for the daytime, there are warming soups such as Spiced Moroccan Lentil and Tomato Soup. For grazers or sharers, there is also a selection of sweet and savoury gluten-free bar bites available.
