Pescatori Charlotte St

Pescatori is traditionally beautiful inside and out.Within a moment of walking through the door we felt incredibly welcome and when we awkwardly mentioned to the waiter that the light above our booth was too bright he didn’t hesitate to burn his fingers removing it for us.

Pescatori sits just within that price range that I would categorise as best suited for special occasions or a payday treat but any anxieties about the bill are quickly alleviated once you taste the food.

The tuna carpaccio with prosecco made for a refreshing starter and the one person seafood platter could very comfortably serve two.

Best of all however was the blackberry and apple crumble with hazelnut and pistachio, while not a traditional Italian pudding it was still the best crumble I’ve tested in a long time.

Overall near on perfect with the exception of the soundtrack. I’m not a fan of pianists in restaurants but would have taken any variety of easy listening over Wham!
