We LOVE the Grind so we were grateful for an excuse to pop into the Holborn branch and try their brand new super healthy lattes which launched this week!!
Forget cold brew, the Grind are upping the ante with a traffic-light trio of beetroot, turmeric and matcha lattes which taste as gorgeous as they look.
The three new additions are available in each of the Grinds six locations, alongside their beloved coffee.
First of the new additions, the Grind Beetroot Latte is great for the heart, with the added bonus of reducing blood pressure and improving blood flow, and is a stunning pink colour. Grind have partnered with The Estate Dairy to give it a creamy dairy protein hit, but it’s just as good with almond or soy milk.
The summer green Grind Matcha Latte is made from concentrated powdered green tea and provides a metabolism boost, an immediate antioxidant fix and a caffeine kick. Grind have paired it with almond milk, for a natural nutty sweetness. Head of Coffee Sam adds “It’s a Pantone 375C” – which makes it Instagram gold of course.
The last of the three, the Grind Turmeric Latte, took the Grind looking further afield to Melbourne, where Golden Grind’s blend of turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and black pepper has taken over. Made with soy, it’s full of anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, and we predict will be THE drink of Autumn.
Come for the latte’s, stay for the food. We could eat avocado on toast all day, erryday (and sometimes do!) but The Grind’s version is one of the best out there. A slice of sourdough is topped with tons of creamy ripe avo, topped with two poached-to-perfection eggs and served with ribbons of salty prosciutto on the side. Pop an energy bite in your bag for the road and they’ve got you covered all day.
