Tahini & strawberry overnight oats with Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Original

Overnight oats are the easiest breakfast for when you’re trying to eat healthily on the go. However, sometimes we find them a little sickly sweet. For a savoury twist, we’ve switched our regular nut butter for tahini and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.

Ingredients

375ml Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Original

120g oats

1 banana, mashed

2 tablespoons of tahini

1 tablespoon of maple syrup

1 teaspoon cinnamon

A small handful of strawberries, sliced

Method

Place the Almond Breeze, oats, mashed banana, tahini, maple syrup and cinnamon in a big bowl and give it all a good stir together. Place the bowl in the fridge and allow it to thicken overnight. In the morning add a layer of sliced strawberries and a sprinkling of sesame seeds.

Salted Almond Espresso Martini Almond Breeze Shake

Forgo dessert and serve this boozy after-dinner shake instead. The Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Barista Blend is perfect for this as you want the shake to go super frothy. If you have a milk frother that’s perfect, otherwise you can whizz up in a blender or a cocktail shaker.

Ingredients

50ml Vodka

25ml cold espresso

25ml coffee liqueur

250ml Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Barista Blend

Garnish:

Roughly chopped Blue Diamond Roasted Sea Salted Almonds

Whipped cream (or vegan alternative)

How to mix:

We like to use a milk frother, but if you don’t have one to hand, this works just as well in a blender.

Alternatively, fill a shaker with ice cubes.

Add all ingredients.

Shake and strain into a tall chilled milkshake glass or Kilner jar.

Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkling of salted almonds and add paper or reusable straws.
